Communication Design

NehaShilpa

She has done her graduation in communication design from NIFT. She interned with Allen Solly, Latin Quarters and Green Goose Design Studio in graphic design and visual merchandising. She has done a few projects with Femina, Happily Unmarried, Archies, post which she joined a fairly new brand called NUN which is into teen girls’ apparel and lifestyle where she headed brand communication. She then joined 99labels.com which is an online private sales portal, at the start up stage where she developed the product which was the website itself. She has been working on both graphic design (print, web and product) and space design (visual merchandising, kiosk design, store design etc). Currently she runs a studio called wishbox studio and heading design for 99labels.com in capacity of a consultant and working on a Religare Arts.i project. She loves experimenting with various domains, anything which challenges her grey cells. She has always chosen start ups to work with which she finds more challenging and gives her a wider platform to perform.

She is a post graduate in fine art from Delhi College of Art with specialization in applied art (visual communication & animation). She carries 10 years of industry experience in print as well as new media and spent 6 years in design education. She has worked on independent projects of designing and illustrating children books for Oxford University Press, Amity University Press etc. She has a strong understanding of graphic design principles, including tools and technology used in designing for print media, web based as well as computer based learning solutions and pre-press & post-production processes. Apart from her visualizing and art direction capabilities, she has a good experience & knowledge in content management & screening, curriculum building etc.

She has done BA (Honours) Communication Design course from Pearl Academy of Fashion. She believes problems are challenges to creative minds. Without problems, there would be little reason to think at all. She loves experimenting. Quality is one article of trade which cannot be compromised. She believes her strong suit lies in an ability to focus and listen closely to people, to solve problem, to collaborate and to creatively develop design solutions that respond to both client and end user needs. When at work, she sticks to the traditional graphic design process. Her design experience has exposed her to a variety of media and work environments, but her interest lies in print media. As a designer she has worked on several projects. Every time she designs, she tries to captivate her viewers through unique design methods and practices.

She is a young artist from Delhi. She has done MFA from Agra University and BFA from Delhi College of Art. She has been doing group shows and art exhibitions since 2004. She has unique style in modern contemporary Indo-African art forms. She is a freelance artist doing project work in field of fine arts and murals. She has participated in group shows at Rashtrapati Bhawan (organized by PIONEER Art Gallery) on the occasion of the Independence Day celebration. Priyadarshi

He has 10 years of professional experience in video game development and is one of the very few professional game programmers in India who have this kind of experience. His key areas of expertise are game engine programming, technical support and training. He started his career as a 2D game programmer with Snowebs Softwares. Then he worked as a Senior 3D game programmer with Brepo Systems. He was the lead game programmer at Vbeing Software, where he got the opportunity to work on the Lithtech game development platform which propels many AAA titles, he worked on all the major aspects of game programming pipeline under the guidance of European game developers. He graduated from NIFT, where he received a formal training in product design and photography. Photography which started as a hobby for him, today is his passion. He has worked on a number of private projects over the past 4 years. Sometime back he documented the indigenous crafts of the state of Uttrakhand on behalf of the Government of India for an intellectual property rights project. He's specialized in shooting landscape, product and fashion. He started his career with Gitanjali Gems where he worked for European and Middle Eastern markets and created different lines for Rosato. Currently working as a product design executive for Ravissant Silver, where he has set up a photography department.

He is an independent filmmaker, currently working as a freelance scriptwriter in Mumbai. He also works as a creative director at HSL Studios. He has assisted Mr. Saurabh Shukla on his film, which is yet to release. He has directed a full length feature on farmers’ suicides, Hantaa – The Hapless Soldier. The film was screened at Trichur International Film Festival in 2007. His documentary on the life of firemen in Delhi, Sirf Aag Se Nahi – Struggle Beyond Fire was screened at Jeevika ’07, South East Asian Livelihood film festival. Apart from these he has made a number of award winning short fictions and documentary films. He has an association with theatre and television production too. She has more than 8 years of experience in translation, having dealt with miscellaneous translation texts across a wide range of subject matters - certificates, technical texts and drawings, legal and commercial documents, literary texts etc. With the 4 year long employment at a reputed automotive company, Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions, Bangalore, she gained insight into SAP software and other technical translations, as well as experience in creating manuals and user documentation for SAP implementation. She is a Junior Research Fellow (scholarship granted by University Grants Commission, India) in the School of Language, Literature and Cultural Studies of Jawaharlal Nehru University. Richa, graduated in accessory design from NIFT. She interned with Designco, Moradabad, India's largest exporter of handicrafts, and Seetkamal, Jaipur, again one of India's leading producers of handmade stationary products.  Her strength lies in her vast experience across a wide range of products; personal accessories like jewelry, bag, footwear as well as lifestyle accessories like table tops, furniture, furnishings etc. She has been working as freelance designer for both domestic market as well as export market and is well versed with the diversities of both. She loves experimenting with various product ranges and has a strong technical base. Currently she is merchandising in a leading buying house in Gurgaon.
